Now to the recipe. In fact, the recipe is quite simple to prepare, and any restaurant will envy the quality of the dish. You can choose spices at your discretion, although in my opinion the set that we have selected in this recipe is the most optimal, so, let’s start.
- Chicken fillet – 1 half
- Onion – 1 medium onion
- Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
- Soy sauce – 1 tablespoon
- Oregano – 1/4 teaspoon
- Basil – 1/4 teaspoon
- Rosemary – 1/4 teaspoon
- Marjoram – 1/4 teaspoon
- Thyme – 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil – 1 tablespoon
1.Clean the fillet from membranes and cartilage (sometimes come across). Make a few not deep cuts on top.
2.Place the fillet to a deep container, salt.
3.Mix all dry spices in a bowl and coat the fillet well on all sides.
4.Add soy sauce and brush the fillet with it just as thoroughly.
5.Now add olive oil, coat.
6.Cover the container with the fillet with cling film and put it aside. Do not put in the refrigerator, as we will marinate for a short time – 30 minutes.
7.Preheat the oven to 180°C (355°F)
8.Cut the onion into half rings.
9.Put a sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet so that later you can completely wrap the fillet in it.
10.Put the onion on paper, salt a little
11.Place the fillet on the onion
12.Close with paper, you can use a stapler to fasten the paper on the sides.
13.Put the baking sheet in the oven for 30 minutes.
14.After 30 minutes, we take out a fragrant, tender chicken.
15.A side dish of mashed potatoes is ideal for this fillet, in fact, for this we cooked with onions. The onion turns out to be very juicy, soaked in all the spices in which the chicken was cooked.
16.Cut the fillet into the desired number of pieces, add mashed potatoes and onions.
Instead of mashed potatoes, you can serve rice as a side dish. Pickled cucumbers and garlic will be a good addition to the serving.
Cook with pleasure!
