Pork ribs with potatoes in the oven
The recipe is very simple, the first time everyone will succeed. And in the end you get a very appetizing and tasty dish.
Marinate potatoes and meat separately.
For meat we need:
- Pork ribs – 350 grams
- Salt – 1 tablespoon
- Olive oil – 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper – 1 pinch
- Potato – 880 grams
- Salt – 0.5 tablespoons
- Mayonnaise – 2 tablespoons
- Paprika – 1 tablespoon
- Onion – 1 medium onion
Let’s start the cooking process
So, take the ribs, rinse thoroughly and dry with paper towels.
Put the ribs in a container, salt, add a pinch of black pepper and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Mix thoroughly, cover with cling film and put in the refrigerator for an hour.
In the meantime, we are working on potatoes:
We clean the potatoes and cut into small and preferably the same pieces. Salt, add 1 tablespoon of paprika. Stir, add 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise and mix thoroughly again. Mayonnaise can be replaced with sour cream, just before using it, make sure that it has a neutral taste, and not sour. Let the potatoes marinate for half an hour. Just don’t refrigerate.)
In the meantime, fry the onion in a pan in a small amount of sunflower oil. One medium bulb is enough. Onions can be cut as you like: finely, large, rings, half rings, etc.
As soon as the hour has passed, we take the meat out of the refrigerator. Let’s stay warm for a bit.
Grease the baking dish with sunflower oil. We spread the potatoes, fried onions on it and lay the ribs on top. The remaining marinade can also be poured into a baking dish.
We close the form with foil and put in an oven preheated to 200 degrees.
After 45 minutes, we take out the form, remove the foil and check the readiness of the potatoes with a toothpick. If everything is fine, the toothpick gently passes through the potatoes, remove the foil and put the dish back in the oven for 15 minutes. Leave the temperature the same – 200 degrees.
