Vegetable marrow with tomatoes in the oven
Summer is coming, so we continue our recipes with vegetables, I won’t say that this is a healthy dish (due to the presence of mayonnaise), but you can try replacing mayonnaise with low-fat yogurt, sour cream, etc. You just have to adjust the amount of salt. So,
- Vegetable marrow – 1 kg
- Tomatoes – 400 grams
- Mayonnaise – 3-4 tablespoons
- Garlic – 2-3 cloves
- Sunflower oil – 1 tablespoon (for greasing the baking dish)
Wash vegetable marrow and tomatoes (well, you never know, suddenly they didn’t know), and cut into circles.
Pass the garlic through a crusher and mix with mayonnaise. Pour the mixture over the vegetable marrow and let them stand for 20-25 minutes.
Grease the baking dish with sunflower oil.
We spread the vegetable marrow at a slight slope, alternating them with tomatoes. Brush the top with the remaining mayonnaise and garlic mixture.
And put in an oven preheated to 200 degrees C (top-bottom mode) for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, the dish is ready, you can even sprinkle with herbs – dill, green onions, parsley, etc. who loves what.
